Security systems for property management portfolios
One vendor, one equipment standard, one number to call for every property you manage.
Overview
Standardize the portfolio, shrink the problem
Property managers rarely have a security problem at one site. They have eleven sites, six different camera brands installed by whoever was cheapest that year, three dead recorders nobody has looked at, and a gate controller only one former vendor understood. Every property is its own little emergency waiting to be relearned.
Standardization is the fix, and it does not require ripping everything out at once. We establish one equipment standard for cameras, door and gate access, and the network underneath them, then bring properties onto it as they turn over, get renovated, or break. Within a budget cycle or two the portfolio converges on hardware your team recognizes and we can support remotely.
Remote management is where the savings actually show up. Most day-to-day issues — a camera offline, a tenant credential change, a gate schedule for a vendor — resolve without a truck roll. When tenants turn over, credentials are revoked from a desk instead of rekeying doors. And because the proposal, install, and support all come from the same company, there is no gap for problems to fall into.

Common questions
Questions we get asked
Do we have to replace everything at every property?
No, and we would advise against it. Sound existing equipment gets documented and supported as-is; the standard applies when something needs replacing anyway. The portfolio converges over time without a capital spike in any single quarter.
How does support work across multiple sites?
One point of contact for every property. Most issues resolve remotely; when a site visit is needed, it is scheduled with the site contact directly so your team is not playing dispatcher. Monthly cost is scoped per property, in writing - see managed services for how the plans work.
Can owners get reporting?
Yes. Per-property documentation, incident footage exports on request, and a clear record of what was serviced and when. When an owner asks what they are paying for, you have an answer in writing.
What about the properties with HOA boards?
Community associations have their own dynamics - board approvals, shared-cost questions, resident privacy concerns. We work those projects differently; see HOA security cameras for how.
